CASA UAV Operator Certificate Application On-Site Verification
Once CASA has assessed and accepted your documentation and UAV Operations Manual, also known as the ‘Technical Documentation Assessment’ or “Desktop Assessment” CASA will continue to the 2nd phase of the application assessment which is the “On-Site Verification and Testing”.
This can include several flights to provide CASA with the opportunity to assess the Chief Controller while conducting activities to be included on the UOC such as aerial photography, aerial surveying etc.
Some basic sequences that could be demonstrated may include:
- Basic Flight Handling
- Advanced Flight Handling
- First Person View (FPV) Flight
- Intelligent Orientation Flight
- Emergency Procedures
